So, I am arranging a summer time schedule for the girls team to go to some team camps this summer, play other schools, etc...
I get a phone message from a parent, I'm thinking, OH Gosh, someone is going to start complaining that I am having them do too much already.
Nope. This Mom wants to know if she can also take the team to one or two more camps. (Under Activities Association rules, I can only take them to four). So, I said yes.
Now, I just have to worry about her thinking she's in charge of the team.

Watch out or mom will be second guessing EVERY one of your decision that might in some way affect her daughter.
In scouting anytime anyone raises the why don't we do________ question, they are immediately put in charge of that committee. Put mom in charge of something. Make sure she understands YOU are the coach and she is NOT.

They do that already, I'm a high school basketball coach, I'm used to the fact that every decision I'll make is second guessed.
But, on the other hand, I can see and do see, the point about being a little worried...
maybe I shouldn't worry, this particular set of parents have been extremely gracious and nice to me, since I took over, and I know their daughter thinks the world of me.
Let's just hope they don't think they gain any special preference for doing this.
