Wow. I'm not married, but I can't imagine hiding money or debt from my spouse. Not. at. all.
I think a 36% bonus would be fabulous, and I think I'd feel that way no matter what my salary was.

My husband and I have seperate accounts, both savings and checking. I pay the major bills (because I'm better about remembering to do it) and he pays a few others like his truck payment and the cell phone. Plus he usually pays for the fun stuff we do.
