We're on Linux now and there are some differences between Windows and Linux. The concrete issue was sorting. Windows is sorting files aphabeticaly by default and Linux is sorting by timestamp.
I'm curious a bit. Are there any Linux users between you guys?

I think TreKay uses Unix at work and I think MasterBrewer is a Linux user.
/tried it for a while, but AutoCad don't run on Linux. Neither does Photoshop AFAIK.

Unix/Linux is too user friendly - it's just picky about who its friends are ...

PH, there is excellent Photoshop substitution - GIMP. Also you can run Wine (Windows emulator) for other Windows applications such as AutoCAD.
And for office use you may want to try OpenOffice which is similar if not better than MS Office.
You will never ever need anti-virus or anti-spyware. Not to speak that almost all Linux software is free.
For those who want to give it a try I would suggest Ubuntu Linux (ubuntu.com). It's pretty easy and straight forward to install. And before you install it on hard disk you can try live version which operates directly from CD. They will even ship you an installation CD for free
I think that only issue with Linux are games.

Don't you have to own a Windows license to run Wine?
I tried GIMP about 5 years ago, but wasn't able to make it work as well as Photoshop. If I recall correctly, it didn't support the CYMK color profile either.
