does anyone else have the wireless keyboard and mouse? My dad gave me these, I like them alot but I just got a notice that my batteries are low in the mouse. How often does this happen? I could fall out of love with this setup if its frequent....

My roommate had that setup and he had to change batteries every few months. I think the newer ones extend battery life.

My mouse came with rechargeable batteries. If yours came with a base, the base is a charger for the rechargeable batteries. Do not put alkalines in it Shocked

I've had my wireless set since 2003 and haven't replaced a real set of batteries. I do not put the mouse back on the charger until the red light starts flashing.

We have this setup and love it. The ease of use more than makes up for the weekly battery change.

J/k. Ours is 2-3 times a year.

You've had to replace the actual batteries 2-3 times a year? I still have the original batteries from Christmas 2003.
