Me too!
The World at War is a 8(?) DVD series that I think was originally an HBO thing. Its a long story, but I know he liked it. |
DVD series still beats tie. especially if you know he liked it.

if the plastic wrap is important, buy the used copy and pick up some shrink wrap at the craft store. wrap the book, heat it with the blowdryer, and no one is the wiser.

Great idea! And once you put it into a camo-colored gift bag tied with ribbon, no one would notice.
Besides, do men generally notice wrapping and cards anyway? Mr Aire told me that stuff is generally white noise to men.

I'm not your Dad.
I think.
I'm pretty sure.
If I was your Dad, I would like the fact that my daughter remembered me and bought me something.
That's enough for me, as a Dad.

Thanks Riff Raff! I'm now officially done with my Christmas shopping.
I am not finished with my various and assorted homemade gifts though, but I'm not too worried.
only 147 more popsicles to eat and that birdcage should be perfect...

All these posts, and nobody's made a single reference to "Who's Your Daddy?"
I'm dissapointed in all of us.

Maybe its been said before:
How about a gift card to a bookstore ? Then your dad can pick and choose what he wants.
