There was a little campus eatery that would make it with ham and just a touch of mayo. I have never been able to re-create it.

no no no - there is a venison rump roast that the Mrs has had on the Webber grill all day - I scoff at your gilled cheese.

Ooohh that sounds good!
I personally like a sharp cheddar, mustard and tomato slices on mine. Its Mama Pffff's version, I have a hard time duplicating it, but when she makes them (with tomato soup, duh) I eat 3. easily.
