Lower back or the whole back?

Lower back: I do back extension at the gym. With free weights, good mornings (bow to horizontal), and superman - Lay on your stomach with hands out front and fly like superman with only your abs touching. Hold for 10-15 seconds and build from there.

Did you get the October issue of Runner's World? They have 5 or 6 back exercises that will do the trick.

Back day usually includes ::

Lat pull
chin ups
seated row
straight legged dead lifts
supermans
1 arm dorsal raises
shrugs
reverse flys
back extension

I don't do all of those in one day, but that's usually my list I pick from.
