I am sure that letter will get appropriately filed.

I will be surprised if Kerry actually picks a running mate. Obviously he likes having just his name on the bumper stickers. If we're lucky, maybe Teresa will be appointed by default?

Into the circular file, no doubt.
I just thought it was interesting that Nader was suggesting this. I mean, I think he's right, Edwards is Kerry's best bet for a chance, but isn't that like giving your competition a fighting chance?

As much as I do like John Edwards, I still won't vote for Kerry.....unless of course we can be guaranteed that he gets assassinated the day he takes office
No, really....in all seriousness, if he even wants a fighting chance at winning, he'll pick Edwards. That'll sway a lot of the moderates who are as of yet undecided, methinks.

*yawn*
Peter Garrett's (Oils' frontman) imminent election to the Aussie Parliament is more exciting than who anybody here picks for VP. Geraldine Ferraro should have taught us the VP choice means nothing come election day.

I had a Kerry campaigner jump out of his car the other day to stop me as I walked down my driveway.
It's amazing where we're headed with a billion dollar campaign. Kinda like man-to-man basketball. For every voter, there's a campaigner.

I'm sure this will change since i'm about to mention it, but i have never run into a campaigner or been called by one. Not once.

I haven't from presidential campaigners but I have from every office lower than that. The most recent Texas governor's race was the WORST. I know how loser Tony Sanchez spent his $60 million: on long distance phone calls to ME The last mayoral election in Houston was pretty bad too.

I don't actually believe who Kerry chooses will matter, but that's because I'm clearly decided. I'd vote for a cat before I'd vote for Bush.
I do wonder about the psychological factor for people who are undecided. If you're unsure about Kerry but he runs with someone you find solid, will you then vote for that ticket, given that the one you think is solid will in all likelihood remain a relative figurehead and not much more?

I don't know...I will say that I believe Cheney was a big boost for W in the 2000 election. I don't know though, I mean, yeah, what does a VP do? But maybe its a statement of the direction the president is going to go politically. I don't think Pres and VP usually clash on many issues once in office.
