Posted: 10/30/02 - 16:06 Post subject: just let me complain a little today....
I've been a good preggo, right? Been happy, chipper, carefree, right? Ok, just let me complain today and I promise I'll find a better mood tomorrow!
Still have this crappy cold, I think it's worse today. Couldn't breathe all night and sleep just didn't happen, maybe a couple hours tops. Had to go to a funeral service last night for a good friend's father I've known since high school. Realized also yesterday was the year anniversary of my granddad's death which made me very sad, I miss him. Something funky is going on with my sciatic nerve and when I walk all of the sudden I get a sharp pain and can't walk on my left leg and it hurts like hell. Had to take my car in because the speedomater is broken and with that and other fixes it's going to be $700. Hubby is cranky because of job crap that is unsettled and the deadline of daddy-hood is looming and we don't have concrete answers on things. I finally broke down and took some cold med (dr. said ok) and it's making me feel really funky and like my head is now detached from my body. I'm tired and am dreading trying to sleep again tonight because I know it's not going to happen.
Ok, thanks, had to get that out before I had a hysterical breakdown at my desk.
Dispite all that, Boinger is kicking me right now and making me smile and think about who cares about my cold and car and other crap because he's in there doing well and I just love him to death.

Hope you're feeling better now...but you've got enough to complain about so don't feel bad if the crappy day got you down.
I had a similar thing with the sciatica, only instead of pain, I felt nothing. Several times I climbed out of bed and fell on the floor because one whole leg was numb. Boinger is probably pressing against your nerve, and hopefully will shift his little bum soon.
I think it's time for a Twix!

oh OL, that would be scary!
Had some of the little Twix I brought from the home Halloween candy bowl. Yummy, but I think the only cure for today is to go home, get to bed and start fresh tomorrow!!! I know I have a good mood in here somewhere, I'll find it!
