my daughter's knee, that is. she was tackled by a boy last thursday and we spent the evening in the emergency room. her knee is swollen and has been in a brace since that night. she's been using crutches too. she saw an orthopedic doc today and my wife just left me a message that the doc thinks it's torn. MRI this evening, then another 2 weeks to see the doctor again to decide if surgery is necessary.

She's too young to have to be dealing with knee problems.
Sorry about this news.

They'll prolly end up married in 20 years. "Remember when...."

All kidding aside, I hope she isn't hurting and gets better quick--although the guys are going to be super-jealous at the crutches and brace thing....

the tackler was so worried about her that he called several times to apologize even before she went to the emergency room. he's a nice kid, and one heckuva a sax player. he's a Jr. in HS, has made all-state band, plays alto sax better than Kenny G. he's incredible.

he ran toward her to pick her up, she jumped. he grabbed her around the knees, they both fell.

Sorry to hear this... hope she heals quick!

In the meantime you should see if they can ban golf from the sports program. These knee injuries are giving it a bad name! Smile
