when i wake up in the morning for school, head for the bustop and realize thatthe bridge at the end of my street is overrun by the creek/turned river, in a manner of 24 hrs and that the road is closed again, thus being followed by a 3 block sprint to make it to the bus detour stop...
i betcha the neighbours across the backstreet are watching the creek with a VERY weary eye 
spring is in the air ya'll... what's your sign of spring?

when the whole city is covered in yellow/green tree sperm. my eyes are sealed shut with cement strong enough to hold Hoffa and my sinuses are blocked to thick that even a "Bunker Buster" missile can't get thru.

The snow is reduced to piles of black crud at the end of parking lots and small patches of white in shady areas of the woods.
The salt has washed off the asphalt so the streets are black again.
When the weather guy says rain instead of snow

You should see on campus. I remember last spring walking down Tower Drive and it looked like heavy yellow mist coming down from the trees. Really amazing how much there was, you could equate it to smog almost.
