i've never been hired at an actual restaurant before (despite a few interviews). i'm not sure what the pay is like yet but hopefully it's decent enough that i don't have to turn it down if they offer it to me. 
c'moooon baby, blue needs a job.

fo serious, i have no idea what i'll be doing. i just dropped off the app and said "i don't have any cooking experience, but i'm open to any position working in the front of restaurant (re: not kitchen)". so we'll see how it goes.

apparently when faced with the brutal reality of not having a life after 4 oclock *or* on weekends, i wasn't quite ready to give in...
ps. i've never had anyone leave the interview before i even stood up to put my coat on.  manners anybody?

Wow she was pretty rude.  How far are you willing to travel? I can prolly get you a job here at the vet clinic mixing meds n helping with small animals.

mixing meds = help small animals?
i applied for a customer support/sales position at one of our Cable providers here... that pays pretty ok to start (plus commission).
i might take a restaurant job - but somewhere else... the Boston Pizza near us is a pretty good place to work, so we'll see. i'll have follow up calls to make tomorrow.
