I love Canada. What I noticed when we visited (this was throughout a good chunk of Canada, too) was how incredibly helpful and polite and nice the people are. I also noticed how every neighborhood and city we drove through was spotless and well cared for. While driving the long, endless roads of nothingness, even at the farms dotting the landscape there was never any rotting, rusting equipment and the houses were in decent repair.

Edmonton was clean and neat even in the downtown areas.

I have only been into Canada for a few miles in Niagra falls and Sioux Ste. Marie.... but I also noticed the dramatic difference in cleanliness.

Those Canajuns shame us. Embarassed
No freekin' kidding. Plus their impressive use of gravy is nothing to scoff at either.

I never ate there. BUT! I could use my vacation days to help Bacon Bits move.....
I would use ANY excuse to visit Canada.

Sadly, it looks like McChord AFB near Seattle is off our list forever. *sigh*

A) Sue, just move to Texas. Not for any reason relating to healthcare, just cuz.

B) I know several of you don't believe it, but nearly any system of healthcare is better and more sustainable than the current one in the US today. /sorry, I'll save it for on topic

C) my parents are going to the eastern coast of canadia (doesn't it seem like canadians should be from canadia?) on a cruise in a few weeks. Looks awesome.
