As much as i complain about things here and there.. (cold weather) i know i probably won't live anywhere else then where i do right now. If i do move, i know i would always come back. Mr. Green

My general impression of Canadian folks is they are like a mix between Merkins and Australians...

I have not figured out why their money has pictures of the Queen of England when they have not been part of the UK for a while...

but anyway, I was really impressed with the knowledge of these people. In comparison to the states, it really seemed as they were driven more by pride in their professions than the $$. I'm moving to Canada (nonFrench speaking preferably--they really don't like us, eh?)

They don't like us much either...

I can understand french, but not speak as well.

A lot of Quebecois people hate their own country. Confused

I love Canada. What I noticed when we visited (this was throughout a good chunk of Canada, too) was how incredibly helpful and polite and nice the people are. I also noticed how every neighborhood and city we drove through was spotless and well cared for. While driving the long, endless roads of nothingness, even at the farms dotting the landscape there was never any rotting, rusting equipment and the houses were in decent repair.

Edmonton was clean and neat even in the downtown areas.
