Great book! I read it in a night! But keep a sweater and blanket around, I was freezing through the whole thing.

I've been around for about 40 more years than you have.. You can't live for 56 years without learning something. (Unless you want to stay stupid) Don't worry you'll have your share of knowledge to carry down to your grandkids. That is why they say old age and threachery (experience) will beat out youth and exuberance any day.
Cute story: when my son was 12 we went to DC. Stopped at the Smitsonian. In the Military section I was looking at a Vietnam display when my son comes over and points to some Civil War officer's swords. He points to one particular one and says: look at that one dad !! I calmly replied you mean the Civil War Artillery Officer Sword ? He runs to the display, comes back and says: How do you know this stuff ? (I had seen it about 20 years ago in the same place)

my mom is a friggin tourist guide in the making... she was always "and this building is ______, and it did _____, for ______" . she definately kept trips going. although sometimes we wanted to hit her with a large trout.
another typical trait of my generation - i want to know, and i want to know it NOW dammit. i don't want to wait to be smarter.
