the greatest thing i'll ever own and officially the most expensive thing i've ever tried to buy: http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2771003671&category=50120

the silly thing is, i just can't walk away from it. Mr. Green

keep in mind there are 6 days left, and i *doubt* i'll win... but there's that hellish fear that i might, and i really sorta want to. Wink

at least i'm not the married guy that paid 26G's US for the gretzky jersey (and then didn't tell his wife). Mr. Green

Well, since you are young and unattached (read not married) if you can afford it and you want it, I think it's very cool.

But that's not the mom in me talking. I won't let her loose to post. Very Happy

No offense but I think that's a really crazy thing to do...I would use that money to pay for school instead... Seriously that would finance 70-75% of my winter term tuition excluding textbooks

heehee it's hosted by the NHL. that's why "he" doesn't have feedback. it's like bidding from a charity.

on a side note tution has been paid for. buying a jersey would merely hinder my ability to purchase a car or something "constructive".

then why don't you save the money for something useful? (like what you said, a car..)

...well assuming i win (and that's a big assumption) it'd be the coolest thing i ever owned. and i could easily get face value for it in a year or two if i wanted to sell it (if not the week after i won).

it's just one of those special things that nobody else would ever have. a one and only. well... one of two.. theodore got to keep the second one he wore...

family heirloom?
