Roy was such a collossal ass he's disqualified from any top goaltenders list. Dryden was less of an ass but now he's a cabinet minister in the corrupt Martin government so I disqualify him too.
In fact, most goalies have some kind of an attitude problem so that probably only leaves Mike Palmateer, Alan Bester or Felix Potvin on my list.
GO LEAFS GO!

Oooh Oooh!!!
I know the answer to this one:
| Quote: | Well it was all that I could do to keep from cryin'
Sometimes it seemed so useless to remain
But you don't have to call me darlin' darlin'
You never even call me by my name
You don't have to call me Waylon Jennings
And you don't have to call me Charley Pride
And you don't have to call me Merle Haggard anymore
Even though you're on my figtin' side
And I'll hang around as long as you will let me and I never minded standing in the rain
But you don't have to call me darlin' darlin' you never even call me by my name
Well I've heard my name a few times in your phonebook (hello hello)
And I've seen it on signs where I've played
But the only time I know I'll hear David Allan Coe
Is when Jesus has his final judgement day
So I'll hang around...
(Well a friend of mine named Steve Goodman wrote that song
And he told me it was the perfect country and western song
I wrote him back a letter and told him
It was not the percfect country and western song
Because he hadn't said anything at all about mama
Or trains or trucks or prison or gettin' drunk
Well he sat down and wrote another verse to the song and he sent it to me
And after reading it I realized
That my friend had written the perfect country and western song
And I felt at last obliged to itself the last verse goes like this here)
Well I was drunk the day my mom got out of prison
And I went to pick her up in the rain
But before I could get to the station in a pickup truck
She got run'd over by a damned old train
And I'll hang around... |

...a really quiet one.
Do you know how many states there are in the Union???
52? or does include all those little island thingies that are a part of the US.. but aren't...

...i would think living through 40+ (60?) years without winning a stanley cup would make you delirious.

38 years and counting (its like a badge of honour for Leaf's fans)...
And seeing as I can't possibly cast a vote for Roy or Dryden, my real answer to the goalie question would be Sawchuk or Plante - I think their job was a lot harder back in the day. Based on longevity and stats, Belfour would have to start appearing on some people's lists too (but I also disqualify him based on assness).
The Nordiques might have 2 cups under their belts but I'd rather cheer for a real hockey team, in a real hockey town than jump on the championship bandwagon.
How can any hockey fan not be a huge Joe Sakic fan though?

Maybe we should consider Barrasso or Fuhr since they played for non defensive teams......
Belfour is certifiable ass and he did a pretty piss poor job for the Blackhawks playoffs......

Barrasso is another ass (I'm telling you, the ass gene must be related to the goalie gene). Fuhr was pretty good (if you ignore the rumours of his drug problem) and he put up some pretty good number with the Leafs - who weren't able to score 10+ goals on any given night.
