Feeling kind of screwed with my Avs jersey collecting dust in my closet while the league self destructs checking in. |
Kenny Dryden was...he was not allowed to wear couches as goalie pads and teams didn't use the NHL killing trap

some sexual perversion that neither tinky-winky or barney really satisfied?

he's also my favorite goaltender of all time.
telecommunications... i've actually considered going towards marketing research after a recent confrontation with a telemarketer had me correcting all the questions he asked not really sure. i want to do something helpful to the world. and thats hard to figure out...

on what grounds do you say Dryden was better then Roy?
i can't pretend to say Roy was better then Dryden, short of stats and championships and whatnot.
i'm interested in hearing why you think different then most hockey fans would.

then Dryden was the BANK | Did Dryden skate over to the owner and demand a trade in the middle of a game?
Did Dryden have the strength to knock down a door to harass his wife?
Did Dryden ever just hit center ice to kick a little opposing goalie ass?
I think not. Roy is clearly the more complete player.

you've never quit your job? patrick roy was hung out to dry.
many goalies have fought.
and i don't think his at home situation is really reflective of his on ice performance (see: Brodeur who was doing his sister in law).
again, i'm really wanting to know what Dryden did that was so good? i don't know much about him.

I live in the shadows of Pepsi Center, my friend. The Holy Trinity of Roy, Sakic, and Forsberg brought me much joy.

i met Sakic last spring (we planned a last ditch trip to edmonton to see all the players we wanted to see in case of a pending lockout - Avs, Canucks, Oilers, and Senators covered a lot of that ground)... he's my favorite player.
did you cheer for colorado when they signed Selanne and Kariya?
i wished horrible things on them. and got most of them.
i patiently await a team with more intergrity.

Not only did I cheer, but I openly mocked all of Canada.
