i used Bubba myself on my second Bike Ride Across Georgia. his services are awesome and there was much more than a buisness relationship, it was very "family" like. Beverages, and snacks, laundry runs and great morale support too. if any of ya had a thought to bike this nation, here is a great incentive and opportunity.

Hi all,
Sometimes people do things to their friends that truly is cruel. This
happened to me a few days ago. A friend, Dave Bell from Wyoming, emailed me and
asked if I would be interested in doing a PAMPERED cross country trip in 2007.
So, why is this so cruel? Simple. I have been thinking of little else
since then. As most of you know, I rode cross country solo and unsupported in
2001 and it was an experience I will never ever forget. Seldom a day goes by
that something does not remind me about a part of that tremendous trip.
In the past few years, others have asked me if I would ever consider such a
PAMPERING but have always felt it was just to much of an undertaking. Things
have changed, unsure why or how but they have. I actually not only think it
is possible but fairly excited for the possibilities.
The purpose of this email is to inquire the level of interest in such a
trip. Of course NONE of the details have been worked out but I have some ideas
which can be shared.
If the trip is totally on the original TransAmerican route, it is right at
4,000 mile. If the route follows the TransAmerican route into Pueblo and then
heads straight west from there (The Western Express Option) the miles will
be shorter.
Working time frame of about ten weeks. Again, this is just to give you an
idea.
Cost I am "thinking" of is about $4,500 per person which will include
PAMPERING each night, maps, some sag support, along with other items. Again, just
to early to get into specifics.
This trip will go East to West, many reasons for that the biggest is that we
can leave much earlier.
Starting time being looked at is Mid-April 2007.
So again, this email is only to provoke some thinking on your part. In
order for this trip to happen I am thinking there needs to be at least 20 and no
more then 30. If you, or someone you know, has interest in such a once in a
life time biking experience, please email me back. I will be starting an
email list and posting on my web site, direct link below.
Again, no commitment at this point from you. I am just in the feeling out
stage to determine if this is a project which I should pursue. If there is
sufficient interest, it will happen.
Darn, I thought retirement was supposed to be time to relax. I am busier
now then ever. Thanks Dave !!!!!!
It is your turn now, let me know if you are interested. For me, I am really
excited about the possibilities.\
Sorry if you get this more then once, it only means you are more special to
me.
Have a great holiday season and I will see you on the road.

I would love to do the TransAm but would probably opt for doing it solo. I met a guy at a hostel in Virginia that was a few days from completing it (west to east). Very cool.
