i dont know.
as simply as i can put it, my dad is moving to the other side of the country with my 12 year old brother and nothing else and leave my 17 year old brother here to live on his own. in a mobile home that was literally caving in on itself when i left 6 years ago.
im the only one who thinks this is all a bad idea.

your right on the fact that it sounds very wrong. any reason for Dad doing this? what about the older brother, no one to move in with? i know your situaton makes it very hard to have him move in with you. I take it he's still in school? is there a social service that could be contacted?
and most important

It's just by the time all the paperwork gets done, he could well have turned 18, and be an adult in the eyes of the State.
