I can't take seriously either.... this is due to the fact I've never heard of him before.

you'd know him if you saw him... he's in some movie about a serial killer or something. an author wrote a book about the killer, and paid money to keep the killer out of jail so he could finish his book, etc... supposed to be a super creepy movie.

Wow. One of our best working character actors and you can't take the man seriously.
Huh.
Magnolia. Almost Famous. Talented Mr Ripley. Boogie Nights. Capote.
Sure, he does some fluffy roles for fun or money, but oh, my god.

I've heard of him, Pugster. The only one of those movies I've seen was BN - who was he in that?

I don't remember the character's name, but he was the slightly gay friend of Marky Mark (talk about not being able to let go of an actor's previous work), the one who bought the new sports car and then tried to kiss Dirk Diggler (Marky Mark) and wore a shirt a little too small for his body.

He's a pretty good actor.
Although, I'm not sure whether to take him seriously. We don't talk much.

Wasn't he in High Fidelity as well? Thought he was good in that.
(edit - oops - Jack Black. They seem like they could be interchangeable in the silly roles, though. IMO)
