We are having the weirdest summer. July is by far the hottest month here, we usually get a couple of hot spells in the high 90s or even low 100s, but this year it hasn't gotten more than about 82. I can't say I mind since the cooler temps make for good training but it's just....strange.
We had to leave the beach a little early yesterday because I got cold sitting around in a wet bathing suit.

Hotter than normal, or average hot?
Maybe the sun is burning itself out faster than scientists anticipated, and they don't want to alarm the general public with the news that it's about to go supernova.
Yup, I'm going with that.

The weather out there today is hot and sh!tty with continued hot and sh!tty in the afternoon. Tomorrow a chance of continued crappy with a pissy weather front coming down from the north. Basically, it's hotter than a snake's ass in a wagon rut.
