It was my husbands birthday weekend. He doesn't rank just one day, but an entire weekend to celebrate. Friday I agreed to take him to dinner a any place of his choosing. We wound up at his favorite sports bar.
Saturday was way to busy. Ran a 5k in the morning. Great route through a local park and the botanical gardens. Spent a few hours with the birthday boy opening gifts, then I had to take the State Teacher's exam in the afternoon. (going for additional certification). We went out with friends for Art's actual birthday.
Sunday was dedicated to a long run and then meeting with our church group in the evening.
Thanks goodness it's a 4 day work week, and day one is over!!
