What gift do you wish to receive the most?
What gift do you really want that you know you won't get?
What gift are you most excited to give?
What gift would you most liked to have given but couldn't find/afford/properly route?
If money were no object, what would be your fantasy gift?
If money were no object, what would be your fantasy gift to give someone else?

None of those things really apply to me. I set my store on the intangibles of life. Love. Friendship. Laughter.
Anything else is...superfluous.
Really.
Although, I can't wait to see what Ian picks out for me at the school fair today. (forgot to give him money, but they'll let him do it anyway)

Exactly! Love, friendship, laughter, and HEALTH. Those are the real gifts and you can't buy any of 'em. Everything else is just that. A thing.

These are the things you should have year round, not just at holiday time. The things are gravy, true dat. But for me, there are few joys greater than giving a thoughtful (even better: unexpected) gift to another. I love to see the recipient's face.

Well said, OL, and I agree too! I'm so tired of hearing a lot of people so focused on what they want, what they're getting, what they asked for.....some of my cow-orkers are all into that nonsense and it just makes me wanna
