Bruce is the true American Idol. (oh woah oh woah!)
Too many for me to choose a couple, but my all-time favorite is My Hometown. The lyrics meant a lot to me growing up. I could relate - but, just the opposite for most of it. Made me appreciate what I had and how and where I grew up.
Okay, enough with the sentimental crap. Best line from a Bruce song:
"At night I wake up with the sheets soaken wet
And a freight train runnin' through the middle of my head."

mega says 1 through 18...
haven't been a real big fan in later years but the early albums were some of the best music laid on vinyl in my lifetime...my favorite album is 'Darkness on the Edge of Town'...it definitely fit my mood for that period in my life...saw him play in Iowa City at the Hancher Auditorium, which only seats about 1500 people, in 1978 (on the Darkness tour)...that dramatically changed how I viewed music...and popular musicians...he played at a level of energy that I'd never seen before and kept it up for 3+ hours...
(oh well, enough rambling....i'll let you all get back to your Metallica now)...

Bonus Track...
'I'm on Fire'
Hey little girl, is your daddy home
Did he go away and leave you all alone
I got a bad desire
I'm on fire
Tell me now baby is he good to you
Can he do to you the things that I do
I can take you higher
I'm on fire
Sometimes it's like someone took a knife, baby, edgy and dull
And cut a six-inch valley through the middle of my soul
At night I wake up with my sheets soaking wet
And a freight train running through the middle of my head
Only you can cool my desire
I'm on fire
