I'd be happy to give anyone a lift although there is a good chance I'll be driving around lost for a while. That seems to be my usual mode of operation....

Bam,
Is there going to be any room in that vehicle of yours for me to get a ride to the race or am I going to have to ride in the trunk?
I guess there's always the option of strapping me to the rooftop. Let me know...
If there isn't any room...Sahara? Rob? Could you give me a lift on race day? |
As you and RR are staying at the same hotel, of course we will pick you up. |
Cool!

I have a feeling that I need to be worried.
I haven't trained in rain at all.
I don't even know where to begin with what to wear then.

Running in the rain is FUN!
Racing in the rain is even MORE FUN!
You only need to wear a hat while racing to keep the rain from dripping into your eyes. Bring a raincoat for the many hours you will be waiting for me to finish my race. Make sure you bring a plastic bag to cover/wrap up your CD/MP3 player for the race AND the wait!

Of course I'll pick anybody up that needs it but it sounds like you'll be in the back of Jed's, I mean Bam's vehicle.
RE: Bag pick up... Chips are NOT included in the goodie/race bag! The bags (with nifty shorts) may be picked up Thursday or Friday... or race day if you want to wait in line. I just called the RD and he said that it would be to our benefit to pick it up prior to race day because the chips and the bags are two separate (and ca-razy busy) lines.
SO... I volunteer to pick anyone/everyone's bag at the store. I need your full name via pm to do that. No ID will be needed he said <grin> as security is not much of an issue at North Park (no one wants to blow it up, huh?). Anyway, I live and work within 15 minutes of the store.
oh, a credit card number and your mother's maiden name would be appreciated too, heh heh

Well a low of 39 the evening before probably lends itself to 40's at race time. I kind of like mid 50's myself for racing.

Don't laugh but...I'll be freezing my a$$ off I'm sure!!!
It's was 95 degrees here yesterday!
I need to figure out what I'm wearing to this thing. I'd rather have it cooler out than warmer though.
