What could be better than the 4th
Just a Short Run
in lovely Pittsburgh on Sat 3/27?!? Info here.
Why should you run it?
- already confirmed as running: me and Pebbles!
- with a 5K Run/Walk, half marathon, 30K, and 30K relay there's something for everyone!
- the 2nd Annual East Meets West Supah Drinking Fest® will follow the race!
| our pal Pebbles wrote: | | I've run this one before...very nice course, which follows along the lake, a few rolling hills but nothing major. North Park is about 15 minutes from the neighborhood and was where I formally ran with my running group. It's a beautiful park! |
Let me know here or via PM who's in and I'll keep you apprised of the goings on.

I have to decide if I will train to RACE a 5K for the first time, or if I will train to run 13.1. Checking the calendar & stuff.

Sahara's in, that makes four
What we need is one more
To bring our total up to five
So RR can dominate, sakes alive!

There goes noley blowing the big surprise. First round of drinks on her on Saturday!
According to my last count, it is confirmed that me, Sahara, and rock are running the half, and Pebbles and robp are running the 5K. Keltic said maybe he was in if he could work it out with the kids. Noley is being persuaded to run the 5K. Is this correct? Am I missing anyone?
Saturday post race event = Quaker Steak & Lube.
