When someone tells you that you'll need:

admissions suggests wrote:

Intel Pentium 4 processor (1.4 GHZ)
512 MB of RAM; 1 Gig of RAM highly recommended
40 GB Hard Drive
32X CDRW/DVD Drive Combo (with CD burning software)
Windows XP
10/100 MB Ethernet Card

do you think my 1998 thinkpad with Windows Me will cut it?

can anyone translate the above for a girl who slept through computer science 101?

No idea on costs to be honest. i had me some connections in the industry before but i lost them.

might be able to sell back to IBM so they can sell as a refurbished. Or donate to a school and use the tax writeoff.

That's the legal minimum suggestion. They didn't say it would be "swell".

I only bring this up because most customers of software get fixated on making sure their systems meet the lowest specs possible, then complain because their system isn't as fast as another customer that bought hardware 4 times more powerful than the minimum requirments.

Don't you want to do more than the bare minimum?

Don't you want to express yourself?
