Hi everyone. My team is getting together this evening for a run, but I'm not sure what we should do for a workout. It's extremely hot and humid and we're definitely not used to the heat. Does anyone have some suggestions for a worthwile workout that won't be too horrible?

Thanks

How about Water Running at your local pool ?
You could practice all your running drills (only limited by your imagination)
? X 1/3/5min efforts.
Great for any nagging injuries.

If you live near the beach its easy.

Taken from my diary 9th. September 1979.
6.00am. Fine. Cool. Light on shore breeze.

10min. easy jog warm up

10 X 100m. run throughs. (hard sand)
5min recovery.
Moderate pace sand run 10mins. return race pace.
5min recovery. (standing thigh deep in water)
10 X 'Percy's sand dunes' 70% building to 90% effort.
5min recovery.
5min Soft Sand RACE. Walk back recovery.
5 X 30m. knee deep water runs 100% effort. Full recoveries.

Body surf recovery.
