does anyone know anything about this? Or arrhythmias? I feel I have one, I keep having this flutter or something, and its really gotten bad in the last month and then worse this weekend. I'm calling my doctor today but just curious if anyone has any knowledge to share. Is there any link between that and asthma? I also am having trouble breathing/my lungs hurt. But, I was also outside for 36 hours straight breathing in natures love juices my lungs hate so much (aka oak pollen)

thanks

Palpitations would feel like little flutters in the area of the heart. I get them all the time. An arrythmia would be hard to self diagnose without a EKG.

Your pulmonologist will probably refer you to cardiology, and cardiology will probably send you back to pulmonology.

The first thing that should probably be done is the EKG. If that is abnormal, a stress test may be in order to try and further diagnose.

i will get heart fluttering after i have eaten sugar or drank beer - Confused the sugar is the worst trigger; the beer just seems to increase my overall heart rate to where it feels like i've been running but i havent.

check it out pf, just to be sure.

This is the same for me. The more sugar (or enriched carbs like rice) do that to me a lot. Now that I have changed my diet I feel better, but like RR said, be sure to get it checked out.

I had problems with this when I was having my second child. I set off all sorts of alarms. They said it mostly due to the excitement of having the baby. I was very worried. I had a heart murmer as a child and my GF had died at a young age of a heart attack.

I hope to never experience it again.
