and he hasn't learned to flush (much less use the toilet) but my cat has learned to unroll then reroll the toilet paper. I kid you not. I've come home 2 days in a row now with the roll re-rolled with strategic claw scratches throughout.
how would one go about introducing their cat to a new hobby?

your cat should offer classes. My dog can get it unrolled, but I don't see her rolling it back up in the near future.

good kitty!
Jack likes to claw the hell out of the rolls, rendering the top half of the layers unusable. This has happened to us twice now, he's ruined at least half of the rolls in the big 24-packs. We finally learned our lesson and put the TP away until we need a new roll.

I'm not using the rerolled parts....they are very used seeming with the claw and teeth marks and chunks missing this is quickly becoming an expensive party trick.

That's just silly. She should quit using toilet paper.

that is where is litter box is. I'd rather have toilet paper issues than the results of blocking him from his litter box...

That's crazy. My cat used to do the unroll part, but he NEVER rolled it back! It used to drive us crazy.
Now he just scratches his claws on our dresser and the wood molding by our bathroom door.... My hubby keeps talking about getting him declawed and I just can't do it. I just got him a scratching post....but I've yet to see him use it (the cat, not my hubby!).
