We live in a greedy little world

Funny you should post that.
I was watching a special about the other end of outsourcing and the results it is having on India.
1. Huge amounts of disposable income for their youth.
2. Huge amounts of disposable time to spend that income.
3. New role models for the youth: before, religious leaders or historical leaders led the pack, now Bill Gates does. (as evidenced by the youth interviewed)
I am actually worried about the next generations in India. Within an hour outside of these "americanized" towns are entire villages that don't have food, basic shelters, clothing, or sanitary plumbing. I don't understand.
