well, my hair turned out great. its an up do, but not very elaborate. essentally, the lower back is in bun and the rest is curled, pulled back and pinned into place so it looks like one giant chignog(?) thing. and there was so much hair spray in it that i had to wash it twice to get it all out.
the makeup was just so so. it looked good, it just wasnt me. she used very neutral, muted colors and for those who have met me, those colors dont go well with my personality. i tend to wear brighter, sheer colors than neutral ones. luckily this was just a trial run so i can get a "better" face next week...
i have some pics that i took, but havent uploaded yet. i will work on that tomorrow....

I can't wait to see your pics, and you're smart to do a hair and makeup run through before the big day. Can't wait to see your pics. You may be pleasantly suprised if you don't do something you're completely used to with your hair. I didn't do a run through with the hair, and was kind of upset after my beautician set it. Now after seeing the pictures, I think, wow, the beautician did a nice job.
An hour before the wedding rehearsal, my best friend and I take off in my car with her new baby. Nicole guides me to the Lancome makeup counter. I'd never thought I'd spend this much on makeup, but I did it. I bought all this junk Nicole said I must have...the results were great! I'd highly suggest Lancome. I ended up using soft colors but stayed away from the pinks... because of my complexion we used a concealer under my eyes and then a shimmery mocha havana blush, matte powder, and sage and brown eyeshadow with a sugar white blend. The lipstick was a mocha color, but to make it shimmery Nicole suggested a sparkly light pink to put over it. The effect was wonderful...
Luckily, I had Nicole to do my makeup, or I'd been lost.

Your hair is great!
As for the makeup, I don't see in the pictures a huge difference between the two. Both are tasteful, and you look great either way. Hard to mess up that pretty face of yours!
