got the braces off this am, at about 10:30. and got a big cup of all the candy that i wasnt "supposed" to eat with the braces...
mmm, tootsie rolls taste great when you only have to taste them once (and not dig them out out your teeth for 5 min afterward)

Whew! I'm glad it is the teeth resemblance and not color of skin. Good to know that that you have not been a part of a science-experiment-gone-wrong. 
Congrats on having pearly whites sans metal. Cannot wait to see a pic of that Gorgeous Smile!!

yeah, got them today too. supposed to wear them while at home and asleep. i got the whole speech, dont take them to school, work. dont let the dog get them, blah, blah, blah... i also got the sheet that says how much to fix/replace them; 200 bucks a pop!  (i have one for the top and one for the bottom)...
retainers are not so bad, but i cant talk with them in, mostly because they set off my gag reflex and i have to spend most of the time with them in trying not to spit anything up...
