so our oven broke on tukey day. we realized it when the beautiful golden bird was not done when it was sliced into and we had to finish it on the grill. it was actually very tasty.

well the bf's mom went shopping today and bought stuff for dinner this week. tonight was supposed to be pot roast night. since the ovens broken, she put in on the grill for a few hours. it also was pretty tasty.

then the bf's dad started making brad pudding, indeed forgetting about the broken oven. so now we have bread pudding cooking on the grill.

who wants to come by for dinner, i think we'll be having grill baked lasagne later this week...

Thank goodness that you did have the grill handy! I can't imagine how my wife would act if partway through the THanksgiving dinner she lost her oven.

I can kinda feel your pain. My main light in the kitchen died on Wednesday night and I couldn't get a replacement from Home Depot until Saturday. Nothing like cooking T-Day dinner by candle light.
