OK, so graduation is coming up, and coach has to buy something for his players.
I have 6 seniors graduating, actually 7 because 1 girl got hurt, and didn't play all season, but we listed her on the roster the whole season, anyway.
Last year, my wifey did a great job, she bought each of the seniors little necklaces...that had 3 pendants on them. The three pendants said "Dream" "Believe" and "Memories".
"Believe" was kind of our theme that season. The team had won only one game they year before I came. I talked to them constantly about believing in themselves, and once, gave them the assignment of looking up "believe" in the dictionary.
It kind of became a community thing. On the state tournament shirts, it had "BELIEVE" on the front. There were "Believe" signs everywhere in town. On storefronts, signs, etc... It was really cool.
So now, I gotta do something kinda similiar. But obviously not the same. Any suggestions out there?
(mind you, I prolly won't be able to check this til Friday night.)
(so keep the suggestions coming, I won't be able to do much commenting)

Do you have a lot of pictures of the games? Is the wife good at putting these types of things together? If so, and if you would help, then I think you could put together some scrapbooks. They make them in all different sizes, and you wouldn't have to break the bank because you could just START the scrapbook. A few pages in each with pictures, then leave the rest of the book empty for them to fill.
You could stick with the "belive" theme also, maybe use that on the cover, with perhaps a team pic on the cover? They could all be identical beyond that, and then use the computer to write little phrases or details about the various games.
Perhaps a big time investment, but I think they would really love it. Very personal and special.
