I forgot about those details like invitations until it was waaayyy too late to order them. So. I went to the bookstore and bought these blank ones with the university on the front (I think you're supposed to put a professionally printed card in them) then I borrowed one of my friends' who paid for the fancy ones, used the same wording, some really fancy font, then printed them on card stock, cut them to fit inside the generic blank ones and sent them. I spent a grand total of maybe $12 for the 25 or so invitations I made. Felt cheap, but whatever, it worked.
My great uncle got his, manipulated it and made it into a collage which he then had framed and gave to me as a graduation gift. It makes the invitation look professional/really cool and its one of my favorite things.
