does anyone know who did this song? NOT michelle branch.  it's old -- like early 80s i think...
i'm not even sure it's titled goodbye to you, but that's repeated in the song alot... i thought it was patti smith but it isn't.i can't find anything anywhere and i want it on my playah. now.
alanintx knows cuz he once posted all the lyrics.

patti smith = because the night so i downloaded that one
i've checked scandal and patty smyth and i can't find anything with those lyrics. maybe she just didn't release that one for duplication, i dont know
