our elementary school has institued a 6-day rotation schedule and has eliminated the days of the week being named monday thru friday. now, we are on day one thru day six. instead of a day name, each day is given a number from one to six in numerical order; her school year proceeds using these numbers to tell her the schedule for that day.

she has gym on 1 and 6 and needs to dress appropriately.
she has music on 4 and also needs to dress appropriately.
she has library on 2 which means don't forget your book!

today was the first day of the week, yes, but it was day 6, as last week was a complete 1-5, the next starting number day is 6 which was today.
tomorrow, wednesday, is day one. her gym days change every week, so does her library day and chorus day....every week it's different, how much fun is this??? oooodles.

forget the desk calendar, i have a game-spinner on my refrigerator so I KNOW WHAT FREEKIN' DAY IT IS.

My HS did that. They had a big sign in the office you could read from the hall for what day it was.

Question 1: How do you dress appropriately for music class?
Question 2: Are the school administrators prepared for the wrath of 200 parents who hate this idea?

our music teacher asks that we dress with no open toed shoes, no open heeled clogs, nothing "flapping" as they might be dancing about the room and there's no room for tripping and falling...also no skirts cuz they sit on the floor frequently.

gym requires running shoes only no buckles of any kind on clothing and no jewelry. no skirts of course.... newly pierced ears need to be band-aided.

school dress code says no shorts that are shorter than the first knuckle of your middle finger when arms are hanging against your sides.

so, what day is it?

have a good six everyone!

If that happens here, I'll have to get drunk everyday, just so it makes sense.
