my advisors daughter is having major back surgery on tues next week. apparently she has a major case of scoliosis (sp??) and is having a metal rod inserted into her spine.
so, please direct some good vibes thisaway, so i can pass them on to the family. i feel terrible, my advisors been uber-stressed for the last month and now i know why...

Good vibes definitely. My sister went thru a bad case of scoliosis years ago - she was in traction for six weeks and a body cast from her hips to her chin for several months. And then a nasty looking brace for another year. Technology has really improved the treatment of it.
