...and it's not so bad...
Untill recently I wore briefs inside my running shorts. That inner net lining never seemed like enough "protection." Well, I guess they make that lining for a reason - like a bathing suit. So what the hell, I'm just wearing the shorts now. It doesn't feel as weird as I thought it would. And it's definitely less bulky to run in, cooler, etc. As Kramer said "I'm loving it!"

Yeah, it's too damn high - I should be wearing eight pairs of briefs under my shorts!
You're right, chafing is nonexistant.
When I told my wife I was running w/o underpants her reaction was "Eeeeewwww!!!!"
