I absolutely cannot stand the Weavers. And I'm a huge fan of the Linz's.

1. You absolutely do not ever make fun of the manner in which someone provides a livlihood for their family (Mr. Paolo being a garbage truck driver).

2. They made fun of the girl team saying they had fake boobs and then 5 seconds later were moping about no one wanting them there....

3. They made fun of the Linz boys calling them stupid.

OK... something I know for a FACT about the Linz boys.... They are from around here... They all three went to St. Xavier High school.... You have to be smart as HELL to get in that place!!!! That is the #1 boys high school in the state, and although I have not checked anywhere, I'd feel comfortable arguing that it is probably ranked somewhere in the top high schools academically in the country. Those are some SMART BOYS! Megan went to Miami University at Oxford, which is not exactly the easiest school to get in......

The Weavers totally amaze me on a weekly basis.... they assume that the Linz boys are dumb because they are muscular....

They have no respect for what people do to earn a living.

They have no respect for anyone, including themselves.

I cannot wait to see them on the Early Show.... I want to see how they are respresented in that particular light.

OK, enough from me.

They try to sabotage other people's race (misleading boat drivers, misleading taxi drivers, lying to the other teams, etc, etc, etc)

Again, I really felt for their story off the bat, but I just have had a hard time having sympathy for them, esp when they insult my religion. Again too, I think its too soon after their tragedy for them to be on display. They're still dealing with emotions they didn't realize they were capable of and they don't know what to do with them, much less have energy to compete in a race. Its hard to watch, to say the least.

Also I suspected those Linz boys were Catholic... Good ole Ohio Valley. Mr. Green

The Linz's are from Anderson.

A friend of mine from High school (she died our senior year) Katie Linz was also from Anderson.... Katie looked just like them.... cousin, I think....

I'll do some checking around.... I should be able to confirm that in about 4 hours....

So being nasty to your family member is more favorable than being nasty to your competitors? Ok, got it.

I don't think the Weavers were any more disrespectful, or complained more than the other teams. And they tried to be friendly with some of them. But they were always met with disdain. Many of them didn't even try to hide it. Some of them called the mom a b!tch, witch, etc.

Making fun of fake boobs, or their line of work/business, calling other people stupid (gasp!), doing what they can to give the other teams a disadvantage the way they can, including delaying or blocking the other teams to keep them from beating them to the finish line? How evil! God forbid anyone in any reality games do things like that.

Remember Team Guido? That couple tried to hold up a gate they weren't even supposed to be in so that the other team might miss their flight. Some other teams in the past had done something similar, but have never been hated so much as the Weavers have.

I truly think the hatred for them has to do with their openess about their faith. I can understand some people might feel uncomfortable with that, but to HATE them for it?
