Woooo hooooo!!!!! I'm off to meet my girlfriends at 4pm today to head to the beach for some serious fun time!!! No hubbies, no kids, lots of fun in the sun and of course 
I am soooo excited!!! I've got a bit of a cold (figures) but I figure all the booze will make me feel much better.
I'm going to miss my boys though.....I'm sure my hubby will do great taking care of Hayden, but it will definitely be a learning experience for him. I think after this he'll see I don't just sit around eating bon bons all day after all!!!!!!!
I'll be back Tuesday night, so be good while I'm gone!

But I have to be honest, as I am packing and thinking about going, I'm realizing how much I'm going to miss my little one!!!!!!! BUT, he'll be fine and I think it will be good to get a little time on my own. Right, right, right.....?

I'm proud of you for going--that is a really tough thing for a new mom to do.
(I had to do it because I was hospitalized and couldn't keep my newborn with me--I was a bit on the delirious side) A vacation scenario is much better!!!
Several wonderful things will happen by you going right now: Mr. Molly600 will be the proudest man on earth that YOU trusted him with Hayden. It will make his day. They will do some very important "Daddyman" bonding--which is always a good thing. You will appreciate both Mr. Molly600 and Hayden more when you get back. You will be refreshed and renewed and ready to face the world again. I think by practicing letting go now, little by little, makes it a little easier as they start getting older.

Thanks airehead! I needed to hear all that!!!!! It's all very true, I know. All of us gals are making a pact not to have any crying sessions or anything, so hopefully we can hold that up. I really am excited though for my time away and for my hubby to get some more time with Hayden, I think they will both love it! And my parents gets to keep him Monday night (my hubby is going out of town for work at the last minute!) for the first time, so they are really excited about that, too!
