But i'm stupid too. This other girl at Starbucks ( : rolls eyes : ) Deidre, she looks to be in good shape. When i came in this morning she asked if i was giong running (i go to work in shorts and t-shirt, usually a race t-shirt), and i said "no, i just raced this past weekend, so no running for at least a week"
"Oh, racing will do that to you"
"I'll definitely do lots of swimming though, after a 6.5 hour race, i'm not wsure when i'll get back to biking"
"6.5 hours? wow"
"heh"
"I ran cross country in highschool, i awnt to get back into it."
"That'll be good for you...thanks for the coffee, see you tomorrow."

right when i got otu the door i thought, "uh...did she just sorta throw that in there cause she maybe wanted a running partner?"
oh well. i'm just stupid. I suppose when i get my coffee tomorrow i can chat with her again.
Maybe girls don't suck, maybe *I* suck? |

my 'girls' are my daughters...i'd rather have my 'relationship' with a woman...and i'll have you all know that you can quit looking because 'I' already found the best...
(there that should be good for some brownie points)

Ok - but maybe she thinks you're just there to get coffee. Seriously, if I worked at a coffee shop or the equivalent and a guy came in every single day, I wouldn't think anything of it.
I think you will have to take the initiative and ask her out. Next time you go in, ask her if she wants to go for a run.
But I agree - a fellow triathlete would probably be great for you. 
And in the morning it's girls - I'm singing it too, cheryl.

Yeah i'd cut it down in the beginning, then attempt to ramp it back up again once she figures out it's my lifestyle.

i'm not looking and thats the point. I don't look, then all of a sudden i think a girl is interested in me, then i get all flabberghasted. Bah.

in fact, the fact that i have no advice makes me cringe and cringe again to think of myself in the 'dating' game again. OMG  i'd rot before i'd play those "i like you, do you like me" games again....

i can agree with the tri-girl idea. didn't you see anyone interesting at your race, you know kinda  looking your way???? you need an athlete as that is your lifestyle. you'd have soooo much to talk about.

The phrase Tri-girl keeps me thinking of a euphemism for a "loose-woman".
