Posted: 01/29/03 - 05:30 Post subject: getting moving again!
Got the ok from the doc, so I'm back to working out again! I've been to the gym twice now and it feels great!!! I've been dying to get started again. Just doing the elliptical right now to get moving, but I can't wait to start running. I'm just a little worried it's going to be hard to get back into it. I know I need to really take it slow when I start again. I'm thinking I'll wait a couple weeks still until I'm used to moving again before starting to run. But I'm looking forward to taking the plunge.....!!!!

What do you do with boinger? Daycare at the gym or do you have stuff at home?

I took him over to my moms while I went to the gym. They have a nice daycare at our gym, but I don't want to take him yet. He's still young and I don't want him to get sick. My friend's little son (3 weeks older than Hayden) got RSV and it did not sound fun, so I'm kindov paranoid. I'll probably wait until March or so to start taking him to the daycare there, when he's older and it's warmer out. I know it's still always a risk, but hopefully that will cut down on the chances some.
Luckily my parents live 10 min away and love keeping him. So I just went by their house on the way to the gym. It adds a bit of time to the workout routine, but hey, I've got plenty of time these days! And they are thrilled for the extra visits! Tomorrow a friend of mine and I are trying out helping each other out. I'm going to her house and watching her little girl while she works out, then we'll switch. So that will be good for a time or two each week, too!
Boy, that was a really long answer to a very simple question....
