and it gets better.


today, Hortons offered to counter my wage that i originally ballparked at 7.50/hr. i said it's actually 8, and they're going to come back to me with an offer.

at 7.50/hr i stand to make more money then the Horton/Golf Club scenario, with less hours worked (on a $/hr basis - it nickel and dimes out to a better deal).

i'm planning on holding out for a 7-3 shift, mon-fri, at 7.50. i'm thinking they're going to make that offer in lieu of the 8$ wage which was a "bit of a stretch" from what they prepared to offer.

the best part?

they keep bringing me back to the table. i feel needed. Mr. Green

i like my options. of course now i have to say goodbye to the golfcourse after there for only two days this weekend.

the hortons scenario just got a lot better. mmmmm set shifts... no weekends... good times indeed.
