We renovated our kitchen back in the winter and decided we didn't have to replace our appliances this time around. They are almond, but they worked with the colors we chose and they're all pretty top of the line (side by side fridge with water and ice dispenser, fancy gas stove, pretty average dishwasher). Since then, the water dispenser has stopped dispensing, the igniter in the stove has burnt out and the front panel fell off the dishwasher.
So now, we get to start saving for all new kitchen appliances. I wish I was more Suzie Homemaker and less Ultegra/Dura Ace because it seems like a colossal waste of money when my local bike shop needs my business.

You can put a PUR filter on your tap, fixing the water dispenser in a jiffy and for about $25.
You can use epoxy glue to glue the front panel back on the dishwasher. Go to your local hardware and make sure it's suitable. You might need a heat resistant adhesive. Should be less than $10.
Call your local appliance store about switching out an igniter. You might also find a used one at one of those used appliance stores. I'm sure it'll be less than $200 (which is about $200 less than a new stove.)

We gave glacier clear well water; it's more of an inconvenience than anything else when you're getting ice to not be able to get water too.
The front panel of the dishwasher slid down an inch and i opened it, causing the thin aluminum front skin to go ka-kunk and bend horribly. So we would have to buy a new front, which is possible, but the dishwasher is teh suck and I don't mind buying a new one.
I do like my stove, but it's almond. And gas stoves are a lot cheaper than electric, so it shouldn't cost a zillion dollars to replace.
We'll probably end up replacing the igniter because I can't go for months without an oven but replacements are on the horizon. I would just rather spend the money on toys and fun stuff.

Big Fat 1
The dispenser would take me about half an hour. There only about three things that it could be. Check and make sure the little tap valve on the water feed line is open. Edited to add: If there is a filter on it, it's probably clogged with junk. Change it, but shut the feed valve off first..and turn it back on afterwards..
The front on the dishwasher is a no brainer. Either the screws on the side worked loose, or it needs glued back on. Again about a half hour.
Igniter? Are you kidding? Its a regular replacement part! Again about half an hour depending where the wire is routed and if the hold down screw is rusted.
Give me a real challenge already......
