Call me crazy, but "insertional" does not seem like an appropriate middle name, especially for a guy.

Great news on your foot but "planning your outfit..."?

Do wimmins actually plan on an "outfit" for a race? This inquiring mind wants to know. I'm happy to find a clean shirt to wear.....

Yes. You have to make sure you get something that doesn't rub you the wrong way anywhere so that you are a bleeding, seeping mess by the finish. There are places where you just can't put BodyGlide and have it stay. I'm not kidding. It took me 15 months to find the perfect sports bra that didn't rub me raw. I have many scars from running, 99% of which are from clothing that was good for a training run but not so good for a race.

I was actually being a little sarcastic, but Kid makes some really good points, a big to all of that! Plus it will be about 40+ degrees cooler there so I actually need to think about it.

Cripes. Some things I just wouldn't think about.

Not only at the point of the insertion, but all the way up the leg to the origin.
