City of Pittsburgh's Marathon was yesterday and along with the marathon the have a 2,3,4 man relay competition, and a 5k. I decided I would run the 5k. I have run it the past 2 years with my daughter and decided it was time to run it on my own. Just to see what kind of shape I'm really in right now.
Well, I'm not in too bad of shape but I was disappointed with my time.

First of all this course sucks! Way too many turns(bad excuse), and the Clemente bridge is steep and you go over it twice(still another bad excuse). Mad
Anyway--chip time 22:27 Confused
Women overall 15th/522
Age group 2nd/51
overall 99th/998

Look, stop congratulating Pebbs on a crappy time.
We have enough hardware to open a Home Depot and we don't need anymore.

She is miserable to live with after she doesn't run like she has hoped.
I have watched her run sub 19, so don't placate a 22 something or other.
Wink Wink Wink Wink Wink Wink Wink Wink

Honestly though, she ran great after really just running with me for about the past 2 months. I have dragged her training and speed down like the anchor on a aircraft carrier. She was a bit miffed she didn't run faster, but that will come if she trains at all without carrying me along.
