It's cold and icky here. I'm ready for summer.
What was your favorite summer vacation?
One of my favorites was a week aboard the Grace Bailey.
We sailed around Penobscot bay.
our computer system is down and I'm really bored.

Me and my lovely bride went to Amsterdam (before we were married) to attend our friends wedding.
We had the most amazing time. I love Europe and the history, architecture, people (for the most part). I look forward to going back when my kids are old enough to appreciate it.

60 friends, 17 days, singing, drinking, and touring throughout Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, and Germany(1996).
Close second: 60 friends, 17 days, singing, drinking, and touring throughout Austria, Germany, France, and England(1994).
Of course, the trip with Tracy was great as well, but it wasn't in the summer(Oct 2001).

I'm sensing a theme with your vacations, but I can't quite put my finger on it...hmm...I'll go think about it while I drink some German beer. (OJ actually)

Actually, Germans do amazing things with fruit juices. Combinations Americans would never think of! (Like pear-banana) Which are pretty tasty. Germany had awesome fruit drinks!

I have to agree with Boston----was there in '90...it was great....my first whale watch tour and it was a good day....they were coming so close to the boat. Hubby and I had a riot riding the subway system (is it the BART or am I confusing it with San Francisco's) because of the accents on the conductors.
runner-up Vancouver BC --2001 awesome city....

I spent a summer in Europe with Mr. Go in 1994. That was a pretty life-altering time. 8 countries in 9 weeks.
